I have been a licensed team member with Veronica Schlagel State Farm since 2014 and began my career with State Farm in 2003. With over two decades of insurance experience, I enjoy helping customers protect what matters most. I assist with business, auto, home, life, and health insurance, and my many years in the industry allow me to confidently help customers with their insurance needs.
I was born and raised in the Johnstown/Milliken area, where I lived most of my life, and I am a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School. I currently work remotely most of the time from Asheville, North Carolina, providing the same personalized service and attention to detail that customers expect from their local State Farm team.
Now that my children are adults, I am enjoying exploring new hobbies, including traveling, practicing yoga, and crocheting Amigurumi. I value building strong relationships and take pride in helping customers feel informed, supported, and confident in their insurance decisions.

Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, I attended Bishop Carroll High School and Wichita State University. In 2008, my family and I made Johnstown our home when my husband’s career brought us to northern Colorado. I have been happily married for 32 years and am a proud momma of two adult kiddos and two grandpups, all of whom I’m grateful to have close by.
Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, tending to my yard and garden, cheering on my favorite teams at sporting events, and exploring nature through hiking, kayaking, and swimming. I also have a passion for travel and am always excited to discover new places and experiences.

Hi, I’m Nancy! I’ve been part of Team Schlagel since 2017. I am a licensed team member, but my main focus is helping customers understand their bills and educating them on their insurance coverages, which is probably my favorite part. Insurance is so important, especially when the unexpected happens, and it’s something we often don’t think about until we need it.
I also get to enjoy the fun side of the office, helping with social media and finding ways for us to get more involved in the community, a focus of Veronica’s that makes me proud to be part of this team.
I was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, and moved to the Johnstown/Milliken area in 2002, where I’ve proudly put down roots and never left. This community is home. I married my high school sweetheart, and together we’ve raised our two children here, who keep me very busy with all the joys of parenting.
When I’m not being a mom, wife, or professional, I enjoy audiobooks, online shopping, hanging out with friends, and camping. I’m hoping to do more traveling in the coming years.

Thanks to my parents, I have been fortunate to call the Milliken / Johnstown area my hometown where they were able to deeply influence my values and approach to life. Since June of 2023, I have had the privilege of working as a licensed team member at Veronica Schlagel State Farm. My favorite part of working at the office is not only the great team we have, but the customer interactions that continue to give that small town vibe. Having those personal interactions has helped me to truly understand the unique needs of each individual in our community when it comes to their Home and Auto needs. Outside of work, I am passionate about staying active and spending quality time with my family, we all love playing sports!! Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer.... you name it! Most of all we cherish these moments together, as we know tomorrow is never promised.
I’m bilingual and love being able to make an impact in twice as many people’s lives.
